Tricycle Riders In Abuja popularly called Maruwa or Keke has defied the government directives banning their activities in Abuja. Some riders were seen in some part of Abuja going about their normal business. A rider who spoke to #AfricaGotTalents correspondent Said they were asked to go about their normal business by their union leadership.

The ban won't work

When government get their time the ban go work by force.

Kekes are a not befitting for a country's capital or any cosmopolitan city at that. They are a handful and cause more chaos on the roads.

So what is befitting? Look at the yeye road wey the capital get. Abi dem ban Civil Engineers too? Nigeria is a poor country headed by an Almajiri president. We dont need to put on stupid fake airs. Keke is a legit, safer than Okada. If Mumbai India which is a far far greater city than Abuja can use Rickshaw, Abuja can use Keke.

Economics is supply and demand. Abuja has no light rail, trolley system, or Modern Bus network and they want ban Keke. Onyeala. If Keke dey shame dem, Na Buhari, Senate and House of rep dey shame me. Na dem with Nigerian Police, Army , FRSC, SARS dey cause Chaos. Anuofias. Ban dem.
