An Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has restored Hon David Lyon as the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the November 16 governorship election.

The appellant Court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) not to remove Lyon as the candidate of the party based on an earlier ruling by Justice Jane Inyang of the Federal High Court who nullified the governorship primary election that produce Lyon.

The Appellant Court order followed an ex parte motion filed by Lyon through his counsel challenging the judgment of Justice Inyang.

This new style PDP has resolve into is a bad trend. They succeeded in Rivers and Zamfara and still think it will work in Bayelsa. I am thinking EFCC urgently needs to investigate these judges that give such judgment. Let the people decide on who to vote for and not Court.

What does pdp have to do with internal party problems of the APC, in zamfara, rivers and Bayelsa it was aggrieved APC member who went to court. Please leave pdp out of your problem and mind you this is just an interim injunction.

LOL... The point of the ruling/stay of execution, is to allow the excluded party to participate; otherwise, it would be an irreversible injustice to the excluded party/candidate if the Appeal Court is to later rule that the Trial Court was wrong to have excluded the APC candidate.

In other words, the votes for the APC will continue to count after the election, unless and until the highest court the case is eventually dragged to, nullifies the party's candidate.

Is it the fault of PDP when APC fails to put things in order? If the PDP finds a loophole why won't they capitalise on it?

What played out in Ekiti and Osun states were enough to get PDP thinking out of the box bro. With the advantage of money, power and security forces, you think PDP should just keep quiet and lose more states? In this case a member of the APC went to court and not the PDP. Don't you read the news?

Bro you need to look at the issues arising before drawing your conclusion. What is the EFCC expected to do with the judges? Force them to confess to electoral crimes which they did not commit? Force them to produce monies not collected?
