Back in March, Huawei introduced the Mate X, a foldable smartphone that many had been talked about for long. However, even at the time, the phone was not available for purchase.

The Huawei Mate X came up for pre-registration/pre-order in China on October 23. Finally, the foldable phone got its first flash sale today, November 15.

This is a new era of foldable smartphones as Motorola just launched the razr 2019 foldable phone too. Talking about foldable phones, Samsung also has the Galaxy Fold which sold out in China in five minutes. The South Korean company also just secured a patent for a dual-screen foldable phone.

Back to the Huawei Mate X, all units of the device stocked sold out in only a matter of minutes. It’s either Huawei stocked very few devices or the demand was just too high. The good news is that there will be another flash sale for the device on November 22.

Huawei Mate X Key Features and Specifications
The Huawei Mate X comes with a massive foldable 8″ OLED display. When folded, the device transforms into a dual smartphone. We get a 6.6″ display on the front and a 6.38″ display on the rear.

Under the hood, the Huawei Mate X is powered by the Kirin 980 SoC, coupled with an in-house 5G modem. The device enjoys 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. This internal storage is expandable by 256GB using the proprietary NM memory card.

The Huawei Mate X comes with a dual-cell 4,500mAh battery and supports 55W fast charging. This was the fastest as at the time Huawei announced the phone.

Huawei Mate X Price
Huawei put the Mate X on sale without Google apps, considering the United States blacklist. However, even with that, the Huawei Mate X price stands at CNY16,999 (roughly $2,425/€2,200/£1,880).

Huawei does amazing things with little batteries, the battery life of their devices is UNRIVALED, i know that with software they will be able to make that 4.5kmah last longer than usual

Leave am he doesn't understand what's going on. Chinese phone brands account for more than 50% of Android phones sold in the world. So if they decide to come up with a different os, trust Google will sweat.

This device is a premium brand targeting premium customers. Its understandable it they sell for that price. Tecno is a midrange brand so it target those of the lower class

actually its 90% they account for both directly and indirectly in the sense that majority, if not all US brands get most of their parts from the Chinese even the Almighty iPhone.
so the Google andriod is gonna really be in deep mess. and its all because of the US wanting to control the economy of others all in the guise of trading.
