Hello guys , please how long will it take to get the NIMC slip that has the NIN number on it in Port Harcourt ? Is it possible to get it same day , as I need it urgently ? I had a voters card but misplaced it now I need a valid means of i.d asap

You'll get a temporary slip immediately and will be told to come back for the 'main slip' which to me is not too different from the temporary in 2 weeks... And for the NIN card itself; it might take 10years

yes! The NIN number is on the temporary and it is tenderable anywhere except at the embassy. About speeding up the process; I can't really say

I did mine back then at the local government secretariat... I advise you go to the main office if It's closer to you. It will be faster over there
