Oga, You must know that everyone must not be in one party. There must always be opposition in order to checkmate the government, else it would amount to anarchy. Even US, an advanced country has opposition parties let alone a developing country like Nigeria. We still need opposition to deepen our democracy.

In democracies abroad as they call it where we copied from, especially America, we find followers supporting their leaders even when sometimes wrong decisions are made by the leaders. They strive to get power and retain power whereever they have control of.

In our country money, influence and juju is used to make the people look and act foolishly. Bayelsans have never had good leaders since Alamaseigha. While he was governor for one and half terms Jonathan did not develop Bayelsa.

Jonathan lost the 2015 election because he refused to stick to his well known agreement of one term with the north. Members of his party decamped to punish him. PDP lost power, he lost but remained in the PDP to reposition the party and chart a new course, according to him.

For me it is a monumental disgrace that he aided the opposition to defeat his own party in his state. That he could not get Dickson and Secondus to give Alaibe the ticket shows that in Bayelsa Jonathan is a paperweight.

They say "no be to give monkey water be problem na how you go take collect cup for him hand". How can PDP ever recover from this loss. Shamelessly too Jonathan will attend BOT and NEC meeting in PDP. Notice that APC has showed Jonathan and PDP how to hold on to power and hynotize the people. I am very certain that Lyon will not be different from Dickson. All they need is power and control of the purse.

Next in line will be Rivers state in 2023. Let's see who Wike will support.

It is a BIG LESSON to the whole of ALAIGBO!
The lessons they should learn in their unpolished political affiliations are:
- The Jonathan on behalf of whom they created enmity across board, especially with their SW neighbours and APC, has left them to flex with the APC and by extension, Yorubas.

- In Politics, flexibility and open-mindedness is important
- Insulting other tribes over a Politician, is a suicide move
- Politics is a game of numbers and reaching out to others! Igbos should learn from the Yoruba neighbours otherwise, they would still be out in the cold for the next fifty years, while crying "marginalisation".
- If Jonathan himself does not consider Buhari and enemy, visits him and is poised to join the APC (Note: Bayelsa has been handed to the APC, by the people of South South)...why are the Igbos crying more than the bereaved, in their headiness, Politics of Anger and Hatred?

Yorubas are said to be "highly cerebral, sophisticated and mature, especially when it comes to politics" because they know when to shout, fight or just mellow down.

Igbos have a lot to learn when it comes to Politics, agressive Gra-Gra is not a solution.
Just watch as some of them will come abusing and displaying the same 'mental inferiority' we are talking about, through abuse and shouting.

South East people kind of opposition is the issue here. Look at South West, south south, north east, north west and north Central, they all have both two major political parties winning guber polls and other positions
