DJ Cuppy has become the 2nd Nigerian celebrity to adopt a lion cub after Runtown.

The songstress and heiress, with real name Florence Otedola has reportedly acquired the cub named after her in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Taking to her Twitter page on Wednesday night, revealed she bought a white cub named ‘Cuppy’.

Unveiling her new pet to the world, DJ Cuppy wrote, ‘Introducing the world to “Cuppy” the newest baby lion named after ME at #FamePark Dubai!!! I’ve always wanted to be a mother! #MamaCups“

Cuppy’s recent acquisition has fascinated her followers on social media. In fact, they have stunned by her courage to acquire a ‘baby lion’.

Interestingly, her new post has garnered numerous comments as expected. Several onlookers on the micro blogging site have adored her courage to adopt a cub, however, they have admonished her to take heed.

Cuppy mentioned in her post that she has always urged to be a mother and that influenced her decision to acquire a cub.

The ‘Gelato’ crooner is currently in Dubai living her best life. She also shared photos of herself at the Fame Park catering for other animals.

She added the caption, “Spent the day with Mr Belhasa and his animals at his private residence!

Last year, Nigerian recording artist Runtown also acquired a Pet lion.

Recall Wizkid acquired a pet goat at the time, Runtown decided to step the game up by making his own pet a lion. He took to his Instagram page to sample his newly acquired white pet lion and it looked so cute to the eye.

Why not adopt one since she is said that she want to be a mother.

God forbid, nothing will kill my Cuppy 'mamacup for life" mind you the cub is not leaving Dubai for Nigeria , her adoption doesn't mean she is bringing it to Nigeria, the billionaire owner of the cub just named it after cuppy.
