perhaps you dont know we are the largest milk producers in africa
we are also the largest avocado producers in africa
we are also the largest tea producers in africa
we are also the largest flower producer in africa
those are agricultural activities and they are supported by our transport and logistics sector which is better than nigeria
while nigeria has petroleum tankers we have milk tankers
milk is sold in village collection points which have electricity for the milk cooling plants and good access roads
avocados too need refrigerators too keep them from spoiling we also produce french beans in huge amounts and they also need good roads and storage facilities all this supporting infrastructure are found in rural areas

Story , with all your largest producer in this and that yet your agricultural export is not up to one $1bn... remember your total export sits at $5bn

It is impossible to become rich on a salary alone, because every shilling that you earn is immediately taxed at a combined rate that can reach close to half of your salary or more . kenya has one of the high taxed system in Africa. you even pay for citizenship card just to meet a high revenue income so If you just hold onto that cash, it decreases in value every day due to inflation. The average idea we can rely on is per capital of the total gross domestic production of such country. being a salary earner does not make you richer than take and pay earner ... all depends on your overall economic productivity ...
