Ever since the damming report was made public by the US justice department, Nigerians have taken to various social media outlet to express their shock over said report. The Drug Enforcement Administration, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Commerce, and Department of Treasury are investigating this case Don't compare US investigations and prosecutions with EFCC. If you have had any dealings with US federal authorities then you'll how thorough they are. Before going public there is overwhelming evidence against Onyema though innocent until proven. We can only be supportive, wish him the best and hope his legal team can get the case dismissed on technicalities |

Mixed feeling as in how?,he cannot buy his planes in peace again?.the American that is probing them,are they perfect....what Happened to mark zukerberg Facebook ad? Donald Trump? Etc.The only problem he has was that he was caught.They are quick to label him fraud and money laundering but will absolve our politicians. Look at the statement from seun,biodun even going base far as comparing him to mompha without even reading the so called report.The truth is that most business people move their money to different banks in different parts of the world for security reasons....this was also the reason MTN moved large part of their money from Nigeria to South Africa until it was made open by dino malaye. People have already started condeming him already just from report.we Nigerians are wired to bring people down on slightest issue,it fuels our hypocrisy. |

Allen Onyema is apparently a front for some dubious political elites. Why we are quick to always play the ethnic card when news like this breaks out is what I don’t understand. Rumors have been flying around in the past that the guy is a front for Patience Jonathan. So, now that the truth about his business activities is gradually been unraveled, some people are playing the ethnic card again. Only God knows how some of you would have reacted if it was the EFCC that carried out the investigation and indicted him and not the US DoJ. Money laundering, identity theft, bank fraud, and document forgery are serious criminal offense worldwide. Allen Onyema should go to the US and answer to all the charges leveled against him. If he succeeds in clearing his name, we will welcome him back to Nigeria as our hero. Until then, he remains a tainted business man with an indictment for fraud hanging on his neck. 2 Likes |
