Be specific. Here in the North East, it's very cold that one cannot bath with cold water even during the day. Harmattan here is different from harmattan down south.

There's Harmattan here in the south too (Lagos). . .plus we're even close to the sea. . . the Harmattan starts usually in the second week of December. .all the way till early February.

The weather is different all over Nigeria.
Here in the south, the heat is insane. It's almost difficult to focus your mind when you're under the sun for long. . .then later, the heat cools down and and the cold Harmattan starts and then bathing will become a scary exercise. . .the harmattan here starts from the first or second week of December till early February.
In the end, the Harmattan is inevitable. .but the heat in the south always comes first, before the cold. .every year.

Depends on the area. It was raining from GRA junction to Airforce yesterday. But it didn't rain at Waterlines and Artillery. Even now, there's heat in my area.
