That Nigeria is a business center, you must work to earn under PMB, not the other way round during GEJ, when they gave him documents, to sign once he is drunk.

According to presidency sources, Buhari was alarmed at the “staggering commission” to Trobell for simply writing letters of demand to the oil companies after the supreme court-ordered settlement of the dispute.

Buhari was said to have questioned how Malami arrived at the five percent commission for a recovery that the federal government can do by itself without engaging any company.

“The president believes the Department of Petroleum Resources, as industry regulators, and the Federal Inland Revenue Service can do all the necessary calculations and recover the debt,” a presidency source told TheCable.

Multinationals operating under the law is owing her host country and a responsible Govt. would require the assistant of agents who will take a whooping 5% just to recover a debt that doesn't require anything special to recover.

This is a scam.

So at your age you don't know the Daura cabal wants to appoint their own person as receiver
Read and be objective! The government canceled the contract because it felt it could recover the money on its own since it only involves 'writing' letters, and not what you purported.

LOL
But we need to be sure we can get the money ourselves. We didn't have access to the $43B for well over 20 years. It will be foolish to block 5% of $43B while we run home with 95% than get nothing. We need to a win-win negotiation

Story.
Is it today Malami's shady deals were made known?
Is it today fraud allegations have trailed the AGF since his first appointment and even before.
Yet he was reappointed and now one charlattan believes it's because of any suspicion of fraud.
The real reason has not been stated or properly investigated by Nigerian journalists, and maynot probably will because most of them are now so chicken livered it beggars belief.

The question is how the Bleep do these companies owe us $43 billion. Are these politicians crazy. 5 % is not a lot. At least we get 95 per cent compared to the 0 % Buhari is getting us. What i don't understand is how we can be borrowing money when other companies owe us. This government is crazy.
You ended up saying nothing.
Re: Buhari Terminates Trobell International Limited Contract Over $2.15bn Commission by phineas: 4:36pm On Nov 26, 2019
Its better to pay 5% commision to 3rd party firms and get 95% as at when due than to forget 65billion dollars for 20years as Nigeria was rumoured to have done and eventually letting go of the money because of technicalities due to delays

Goverment system is ineffective for identifying and following up on debts.A third party firm will take its duties more seriously with their own prefinancing for the sake of their profit. They will also ignore political constrainsts as they aim for their profit

National interest is to use third party firms for such jobs.Small minded individuals should get real

It is a risk free negotiation where FG (as the resource owner) is in the driving seat and can manage it itself (through the NNPC) without having to engage outside lawyers at the purported 5% fee.

The man in charge is not a business man.

He doesn't believe in Give and Take. For his mind 5% is big for a job he cannot do for himself. Making people believe he is frugal. While riding Mercedes 650 Maybach S.

It's all deceit. If he frugal, he would fight for every Nigerian to enjoy what a better life like he does.

But what do we hear ? Nigerian youths are lazy. Nigerians are criminals. Zero Empathy for the people who gave you power..
