He said he works with NYSC in Abuja, he created WhatsApp group where he gives update on camp and registration process, many people engaged him to help them with deployment states, as he kept on sending advert to the said group.

Last week I decided to trust him, I spoke with him on phone, what I wanted was to camp In my state of origin, Ogun state because I have a work am doing, I had also wish to use my place of work as my PPA too.
He charged me 30k which I paid 20k then I promised to balance when it's done.
Yesterday the call up letter show up, I opened it only to see EDO state. I was very angry and distabilized. I rushed to the WhatsApp group only to see 3 other persons shouting his name.

Why?

You just doing what you should have done without paying anybody. You should have asked how to go about changing your service state to a desired one which has become a lot easier due to issues of insecurity in the country. What to do is to wait for your call up/mobilization, resume at your assigned state and officially write a request for redeployment to your state coordinator, you are sure to get approval without much resistance if at all there will be any, within a month, your redeployment would be effected. That is how corpers that wish to redeploy go about it.

Your money is gone but you can never tell...you still have like 3weeks more before you can't be reposted...

I served in Edo state the camp at Okada is one of the worst in Nigeria. It's either you still push the redeployment or someone can help you to serve in Auchi because that's where I served and that's the only okay place there. Or else na for bush you go find yourself

Both of you committed a crime:

-He scammed you

-You wanted to bribe your way and fool the NYSC by buying posting and that’s illegal offense too

Funny guy ,u want to be posted to your state and ur PPA for 20K .My brother it doesn’t work that way . If at all u get that kind of stuff u will pay more than 100k .
