Our Culture: See What We Saw In Our Street: Izaga by massinola(op): 4:02pm On Nov 27, 2019
Back then in primary school, we always read about one mysterious masquerade called Izaga. The Igbo myth always told us that it always came out from an ant hole. Never have I seen it before.
Today from no where, I saw it in my Street. Very tall, I can't say how tall. The whole Street followed it as everyone always read it in Igbo readers back then in primary school. No one has actually seen it before.
This is what Christmas brought our way this season.

Have you seen this before

I'm waiting for those who will come to say ''this is 21st century"

They are the real 21st century fools who would grab any chance to attend a carnival in US but would see their own carnival as illiteracy. Slaves

OP this culture is not limited to Igboland alone, it's a common culture among Nigerians. Yorubas call it egunuko.
