you still don't get me, compared to their counterparts around the world, Nigerian talents are doing way more to hit stardom which shouldn't be so if proper infrastructures were in place, many shouldn't even have to go outside before fulfilling their dreams.

I'd rather the sporting sector was developed so our athletes won't ply their trade in the backwaters of Europe and Asia just to make ends, even they want to travel abroad it will be for glory not money.

you're getting it wrong, its not how the world works even though its possible to earn millions in Nigeria...

doctors, web designers, web developers, software developers e.t.c.. are all travelling abroad for money so why should athletes not travel... highly paid employees are leaving every year for money ( people who earn at least ₦400,000 per month), only people who earn between ₦700,000 - ₦1,000,000 per month are interested in staying back, how many sports clubs are ready to pay at ₦700,000 per month to athletes..

people who are satisfied with their Nigerian salary will not want to travel abroad, but people who want more for themselves and their children will.

no matter how developed the any sector is, people will still want to go abroad for money because that's how the europeans designed it by giving themselves better currency value than other countries, smearing other countries in the media, making their countries look like paradise in their movies e.t.c.

the leagues in Europe started from somewhere, their economy too; accepting that as a norm and not trying to change any thing about it in our end is cowardice on our part. how many Saudi or Qatari player do you see outside their country, and don't tell me it's because they are not good enough.
