Dont join issues with people who clearly do not understand the dichotomy between budget and revenue.They always believe budget is real money or revenue in the bag already.From 1999 till date no budget in Nigeria has recorded 70%performance.

I was referring to the active Lagos 2019 budget which was just slightly bigger 2billion dollars and not the 2020 which is not active ..and even the 2020 budget is just a paltry 4 billion dollars when you take population and infrastructural deficit into cognizance ... Zamfara had a population of 3.8m in 2012. You'll also agree that the change there won't be much due to emigration, diseases and deaths the state has witnessed since then.

Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara state has accused the immediate past governor of the state, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, of paying himself N360 million from the state pension funds shortly before he left office.

The governor said this in Wednesday while assenting to a law stopping jumbo allowances for former governors, deputies, speakers and their deputies in the state.

The Speaker of the state House Assembly, Nasiru Muazu Magarya, and other principal officers of the House had brought a bill before the governor for assent.

Matawalle, while assent the bill, said, “If you could remember former governor Yari had sent a letter to me demanding that his N10 million monthly upkeep allowances be paid and he was even threatening to take me to court should I fail to pay the money.

“I called my deputy, the state assembly speaker and his deputy and asked them whether they need such mind-boggling allowances and they all answered in negative. Then, we decided to repeal the law backing the payment and I have assented to it.

“Our successors will not find it easy to come up with such obnoxious law to pillage the little resources of the state in the future. There is no reason whatsoever the state could afford to pay the past leaders a whopping sum of N702 million annually to the detriment of dying pensioners in the state,” Matawalle said.

“It is on the record that the backlog of pension and gratuity for local government workers and primary school teachers left behind by Abdulaziz Yari’s administration stands at N3billion while that of the state government retired civil servants also stands at N3billion. “What moral justification could be offered for such a Jumbo package for a select few when the social index has consistently indicated that the majority of our population lives in abject poverty?” he queried.

According to the governor, for anyone to become governor or attain any top position in the state, or means they were already financially well to do.

This particular state along with yobe, borno have been ruled by APC since 1999. They are the hotbed of sharia, Boko haram, banditry, diseases and poverty. This is the first time PDP is ruling this particular state and the difference has been clear!!

It's the same Google that shows zamfara has 3.3 in 2006 and 3.8 in 2012 while Lagos is 9 in 2006 and 18m in 2012. Check it. You can then judge the pattern of their population explosion.
As I told you, emigration occurs in zamfara while immigration occurs in Lagos.
Zamfara has had divers deaths from diseases, insecurity and poverty while Lagos has not recorded deaths from such. Plus the probability of a baby surviving to adulthood in Lagos is higher than in zamfara.

Besides the birth rate you mentioned is relative. Lagos with a lower birth rate will have more babies in a year than zamfara even if zamfara has double of its birth rate

The issue of Bullion Vans would have sent some people to jail in some environment if they are sued by Tinubu. Bullion Vans are operated by Licensed Security companies to provide services to whosoever requires their services. The law establishing them does not restrict their usage to provide services to organization that requires their services. You should go to Court to provide evidences that they were carrying contraband or illegal items. Parking at a premises of a captain of business organization and political leader should not be your headache. Are they CBN Bullion Vans?. If Bullion Vans are parked at the residence of the CEO of the security company that owns them would that have amounted to crime? Hatred & jealousy are troubling people.

I have never met Tinubu in person or any of those lousy parasites, sycophants and PAs that shield him but my analysis of his struggling to develop Lagos from the stinking, jungle and deserted state to the present state is positive.

Zamfara Budget = 500 million dollars
Zamfara population =4 million
Zamfara Budget per head = 125 dollars

So Mister from the above you can see pound for pound Lagos is not in better position than Zamfara infact Zamfara has 25 extra dollars to spend per inhabitant than Lagos yet Lagos is paying 5 times more as pension perks to its ex governors .

Based on your analysis, Osun State is richer than Lagos. There is no need for people from Osun and Zamfara to come to Lagos for survival because, naturally, people look for greener pasture. rather, it is people from Lagos that should relocate to Gusau and Oshogbo for survival. There is a difference between simple Arithmetic and Pure & Applied Mathematics.
