This morning, I had to deliver eggs to one of my customers, I loaded the truck and i drove off.. I was on the drive when a strange number called and it happened to be the guy's aunt. She said she was calling to ask for my account details just like my guy instructed her to do.. So I texted her my bank details and I've gotten an alert for 2.5m so she called back and said that was how much he asked her to transfer to me and if I was skeptical or something I could ask him directly... Now that's funny..


But I'm happy he paid back.. By the way, my farm is in ogun, its pretty big and this December, I'm gonna share eggs and some cash randomly.. It's been another good year with sales on the farm, I might not be popular, but I'd still give back.. Now that's my style

Brother if you must help a fellow brother, give him your blessings as he goes, life is not really easy even outside there brother. He may have it in mind to pay back but still trying to settle down, family, debtors, accommodation, jobs, etc. All this these don't balance in a day. May God never send helper like you my way. If the op has sworn for that guy all these years, would he have known that the guy has been struggling and even saving up to pay after 5yrs.

Tho i know they are some idiots out there who would lend money from people and start acting up but the way you overlooked everything and let it all play itself shows how genuine your intentions were.

God forbid today if I'm broke i know niggas who are ready to sacrifice anything to see me back on my feet just because of what I have done for them in the past.

They was a time i was having some financial issues tho I didn't tell any of my friends but immediately they got to know mahn 85% of people I have helped financially and other ways came through and put me back on my feet.

It's one thing to be good it's another thing to be genuinely good.

2015 was a different year for me, after my grandpa died, he willed his farm to me. When he was very much alive, I took interest in farm work and i had to move to th village to work on his farm and his poultry. So he willed it to me and the other family members didn't give a damn. (most of them were doing good in Lagos). So 2015 I sold alot of farm produce (I'd say since he willed the farm to me, I worked harder than I was working before when he was very much alive).

I saved up most of the money, made sure my wife and kids were okay and I threw about 80 percent of the cash i made in the bank.

September 2015, I was roasting yam (me and the people I employed to work in the farm, we took a break) and my dude from way back was on the other end, we spoke for hours that I couldn't continue with the other guys.. He needed money for plane ticket and other stuff.. Said he would pay me back in folds when he gets to the states and works for a while.

I told him I was gonna get back to him as I needed to discuss things with my wife and Iwas gonna get back to him. God till date I didn't know how I credited him one million.. I just can't explain it till date. He eventually traveled and i wouldn't hear anything from him until last night (he didn't call me at any point and I didn't bulge for 5 years).. He'd call me yesterday and said he's never seen a nigga like me and he'll wire me some funds Monday..

Probably if you had prayed for him or let him be rather than curse him, he would have done well and maybe eventually payed back like the OP's case. Instead you cursed him, now he is doing badly and you did not get your money.

in loan firm, collateral is needed and interest collected with the principal. this is different from supporting a friend with cash to go and search for greener pastures. you can't tell how things will work out for him/her, you only pray for them and collect your cash back when things have stabilized for, this may be after a few months, years etc.

Mr farmguy if you would share money plz give to those who need it not those..... plz I dnt know if you could open another thread and explain how youth could go into farming. I tried it in my 100level days. I spent a lot trying acquire space close to my sch @ akure. the local government directed me to the dept that was in charge and the guy there was just extorting me despite telling them I'm a student.
now I'm in 400L I later abandoned the farming mind set.
plz if you have any advice share it . I'm from LAGOS Epe I'm sure I'll still get land from my home town
