true is that our problems are all emanated from our leaders due to their obliviousness and greedyness. nepotism which is characterised by self gratification is also another factor. unless we have a change of mindset , things will continue the way they are at present. may God help in this shady country.

As long as the security men aren't patriotic and derive honour in doing their jobs and primary focus isn't money through extortion, insecurity will always be a big issue.

Every move Buhari makes is a calculated one, to somewhat favor the north over other areas. Anyway, by the time Buhari is done with Nigeria, we will know what is remaining. I can't wait for a Yoruba man to be president again. Yoruba presidency seems to be the way forward from favoritism.

Even if they're arrested, the government will cry on their behalf that the northerners are being arrested unjustifiably. Have you forgotten when the army was dealing with the Boko Haram back then, some people were saying that the army was killing the northerners in the name of Boko Haram?

In a decisive effort to further discourage the illegal movement of goods and persons into the country, President Muhammadu Buhari has permitted the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to use drones in monitoring all borders.

Also, the NCS, following the order from the president to close all land borders will henceforth make use of other forms of sophisticated geospatial technology in its surveillance duties and operations, The Nation reports.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) had revealed that it saved a daily amount of N1.4 billion since the borders were closed.

The NCS also said that the border closure had help it to meet it target of generating revenue internally.

I can't wait to see PMB observing the action in the NAF control room. wink

South border were rice, okirika, cars etc are being imported from is shut down while northern borders were boko haram, Fulani bandits, kidnappers etc are being imported from is open.
Nigeria is truly a jungle

You have been trapped exactly where Daily Post intended to imprison you with their deliberately phony headline!

The article proper quotes the senator saying our land borders and waterways are porous and letting in illegal arms. He specifically mentioned; Badagry, Epe, Warri, Patani, Sapele, Port Harcourt, Eket, Oron Lokoja, up to Adamawa & Kebbi inland waterways. He only referred to Potiskum animal market as an example of our porous land borders.

However, the newspaper chose as headline screamer "Norther Borders are Greatest Threat to Nigeria" which is not what the senator said!

How do people choose to do these much harm to their own country? Do you guys hate Nigeria these much? Is the media (social & traditional) wishing for a bloodbath in this country?

I mean all of them including the ones on foreign peace mission and the ones send during election..the entire armed forces and all the security agencies are not enough to check our borders... Nigeria is not Togo, or Benin, Abi Ghana, Borno and Niger State alone is bigger than all them combined even when u add Chad and Niger..GREAT NIGERIA
