And he has been borrowing ever since

From 11Trn to 22Trn, is that not an 100% increase?

And nothing has changed ever since.

Nigeria still lacks power

Nigeria still doesn't have portable water

Nigeria still lacks adequate health facility

The number of poor people has increased astronomically

The number of jobless people have increased

Where did all the money he has been borrowing go to?

How silly can you be? The figures quoted in the article are in USD while you are mischievously quoting figures in Naira to make people feel that because they see trillion means it is bigger than the USD quoted in the article.

How daft can you wailers be?

Where did all those PDP borrowed go to?

Clear the debts na, shey EFCC has been recovering looted funds
You inherited $63bn and you're not doing anything to clear it, instead you're compounding the debt making it difficult to clear thereby sabotaging our future. You're in your second term and 're still blaming the opposition for your woes and ineptitude.

The person and government who were in the best position to clear these debts was the imbecilic Goodluck Jonathan and his party PDP when in his tenure he earned the highest from Oil due to high prices of the commodity but did he do it?

Now you wish Buhari to clear the debt from recovered loot which amount to less than 15% of the debt PDP incured. Are you all not mad like this?

Why dont you ask your useless governors why they keep borrowing when your erosion mudslide is hurrible... National Debt means debt owed by both state government and federal government, both external and internal loan... Buhari already came out he only borrowed $10bn why not and even the blind can see the new rails what did jonathan and your governors borrow to do

DMO is the official Budget Management institution in Nigeria with credible and valid data regarding Nigeria's debt profile, not a faceless blog site.

This administration wasted nothing. On the contrary it is in this administration we are seeing accountability as funds are going into what it is meant for. For the entire 16yrs of PDP we saw absolutely nothing yet our debt profile kept climbing. Not so this time. PDP was and remains the fraud.

Most comment I see here shows that 70% of the people on nairaland are dullard and uninformed

They speak of $63b and some are calling them liar that is trillion naira...una dey mad?

BMO replied atiku, DMO confirmed the fact and some still call BMO as DMO, una dey mad

Nigeria has been borrowing from the day I was born and this govt are showing tangible things apart from past govt that used debt to block holes so that u all will be seeing good economy....

If u can't bear the hardship, then don't expect development

Because nothing good comes easy
