Its a start! Why are you people always pessimistic about ur own??

Google and see how other countries started... everything is step by step before reaching perfection. Its a good start, before did we even manage to produce the tyres talkless of the armor?? For the time being It serves the purpose its built for nd with time and more funding(hopefully) we will have a robust defence industry like the world super powers.

At least for starters we are showing defense industries nd its investors around the globe that we are open for business.

If it was actually named after your tribes name, you won't be here looking for who the leader or lead engr is.
If it was named after a Yoruba tribe, I will NEVER say what that guy said initially on the front page!

You are very right. But, the whole world is leaving us behind. If we continue at this pace, we won't get to space in 100 years' time. Knowledge is so cheap nowadays that we don't have an excuse for mediocrities. Just ordinary 1gb size youtube video would have thought them how to do proper welding. I use YouTube to repair anything in my house.
If I want to start manufacturing phone, should I start with 3310-like phones when kids in China can read few electronics & communication textbook and manufacture iPhone-like phones? We don't have to start from the base, we can copy, paste and improve.

victor ezeugwu was/is the brain behind all this.google more about him
I think Gen. EZUGWU is a very ambitious man given that he took over the directorship of Dicon from Gen. Ogunkale as recent as june this year. This beast of a war machine could have been born out of his near death experience as a war front Brigadier General in Borno. I remember Buhari having honoured him for his battle field exploits two years ago. Good for him.

However the first locally "made" military assault beast by the NA was when Dicon was under the directorship of Major General Charles Maduegbunam, during Ihejirija's era of army chiefdom. It was named APC IGIRIGI.[img]

So because it was named Ezugwu it means the Igbos built it right?

If they give it an Hausa name, you will complain marginalization. If they give it an Igbo name you will say its merit.

Don't you think something is wrong with you?
These people need re orientation a lot.

Do you believe that under Goodluck Jonathan NNS Aradu was rename NNS Thunder. All Housa alphabets on naira notes were removed.

There level of ignorance and intolerance is too much.

That's why we need a seperate state so you can be free of those people that something is wrong with.

Igbo's can never rule this Country. Go and solve the problem in you tiny underdeveloped Region first.

I served at the Defence Industry (DICON) between 08/09 and these same vehicles were under construction at the time. I touched them. I spoke to the “Engineers.” I’m in shock and utterly disappointed that it took at least 11 years to get them out. It’s sad. We have no reason to commend the military. This is a typical example of the collapsed system and a failed project. Mere looking, you can tell it’s garbage.

Yes, so that he will force another decree 34 and make every tribe his slave as Aguyi Ironsi tried in 1966. Or is it for him to legalize drug trafficking, human trafficking and kidnapping? Ewu Congo. Solve the problems in your Biafran Republic of Drugs and Crimes first.
