I thought the court said ganduje should return to status quo, and said the creation of other Emirates is illegal, null and void and has no substance..

Ganduje is not a selfish personnel, he doesn't eat alone, so anything he says must be adhered to no matter how proscribe it may look initially, it must surely be endorsed afterwards.

The court voided the first act establishing the new Emirates,so Ganduje just played a fast one on sanusi by forwarding n new bill to the state house of assembly which he controls n ensured the bill was fast tract n passed instead of taking the long ardous process of appealing the ruling, sanusi Don jam !,serves him right.

APC is known for never obeying court orders. If Orji Kalu is sentenced to 12 years in prison, GANDUDOLLARJE may be sentenced to minimum of 25 years afterward

There is no impunity anywhere, the lawmaker have the right to pass a law, why the court check if there is any law backing an order.

Initially, there was no law backing the creation so the court did the needful, now the law have been passed, the court can't stand against the creation anymore. Whoever wrote the script did serious calculation and permutation.

The People, the State Assembly which gave the state Court' it's powers have spoken, finished, it is law. It is beyond the state Court', only the supreme Court can save Emir Sanusi, all those beautiful young women he intended to marry for himself, I guess he has to share them now with his fellow emirs?

Says who? A law backing their actions has been established and you are saying it's illegal, then tell me who in Kano state has the authority, the Governor and state Assembly are on the same page?

So who is questioning their jurisdiction?

The house have just made it legal now. Once the governor consent to the bill, it becomes law ati legal. Anyway, kano is too big for just one house. Other state emiratis have split few years ago, so I see no big deal in splitting Kano, as the population is too much for one house to manage.

Actually, this is the right process and the court order cannot stay action the duty of the assembly. The court can only vet the process which the assembly used and can declare such process unlawful especially if due process was not follow or it contravenes a pre-existing law which needed to be repealed first.

The emirate can still take the State assembly to court especially if the bill didn't follow the prescribed processes of the assembly or the bill contravenes a pre-existing law without prior repeal.

For example, the law that created Kano emirate should have been amended or repealed if the law that created it prescribed the entire state as its boundary while creating new ones out of the same boundary. 2 laws cannot create emirates having the same rank and same or shared boundary. The conflict will make the new law unenforceable and the court can declare it null and void.

In this case, am sure Sanusi's lawyers are waiting for the bill to land so that they will form a case.
