Hello everyone,

I told a friend that I was having issues with my iPhone 7 speaker all greyed out and she suggested I post it here on Nairaland.

I got this iphone 7 in February 2019, and it has been functioning well with no issues whatsoever until yesterday when the speaker icon greyed out. I can’t make calls, neither can I receive as the person on the other end will not hear me.

Also I can’t facetime, WhatsApp call or do telegram call. If I try to use the voice memo, it doesn’t work and earlier recordings don’t play too. Can anyone help me?

Also, if there is no way to fix it, can I at least sell it well or exchange for another good phone.

Any good suggestions will be welcomed. Please be nice to me, this is my first post on Nairaland too.[img][/img]

That's an Audio IC issue.... 50/50 chance

It is audio ic and it can be fixed

I have the same issue with my 7+ few weeks after upgrading to iOS 13... I read about it and realized it an audio ic issue. Also read that fixing it is 50:50. It works with Bluetooth device tho.

Were you able to fix yours? I need someone who has fixed theirs so I can know if it would be worth the stress.

I just got a Bluetooth headphones now and it worked. Yaaay! Thank you.
