I can't listen to them these days. Like I see their posts and save their cute pictures (ShowKi!!!), but it's so difficult for me to listen to them. It would have been better if he wasn't such a key part of their songs but alas. I will try watching it later for the rest of them though but I'm so close to being done with KPOP and the mess that goes on behind the scenes

I have a bit of time on my hands so I'll talk some music stuff, not really a review but my feelings about the song. My zeal for kpop has been waning, I'm content to live in the past and listen to old tracks than follow new releases but I'll just talk about a few I listened to, I'll do them in different posts

1. IU

a. LOVE POEM

Beautiful, epic, simple. I can't talk to much, IU went through a lot this period and she's still going through a lot, she cries at every performance and honestly it's heartbreaking how much of herself she's pouring into these songs, but I love it.

b. ABOVE THE TIME

I'm not going to talk about how majestic I think this song is but I'm going to spaz about the mv, she basically did a continuation of 2012's you and I, the best part for me is the fact that Lee Hyun woo is here too, I've been a fan of their friendship for years, hell I even ship them and I'm very glad they're still as close as ever, it was fun watching how more mature they have become since you and I

SUPERM

Aigoo, this one is a love and hate thingy, so when I first heard about superm's concept, I literally rolled my eyes, I wasn't excited about it at all, I felt sm should have just given nct a comeback but then again I loved it cos what are the chances of finding these boys in one frame at the same time. Anyway I liked all of their songs except for jopping, I liked the beat but that was all, it's supposed to grab American fans so a lot of the lyrics were in English but honestly, I didn't understand anything in that song apart from the very unfortunate "when we're jumping and popping we're jopping" lmao kill me now, and the award for the lamest English lyrics in kpop 2019 goes to...., I'm glad the song did well in sales and "jopping" is probably going to be included in the urban dictionary very soon but I'd rather chill with my can't stand the rain, no manners, 2 fast and the rest than listen to jopping even though I love the energy of the song. I just imagine it in Hangul cos I really can't buy the English in that song. I still stand by my "they should have just given the whole album to nct", I really don't think it has the potential to steal bts's position in America

EXO OBSESSION

So I have only listened to 3 songs out of this album cos I've not really been in the mood, I just picked the 3 songs at random

a. BABY YOU ARE : Disco inspired funk or disco funk or whatever is one of my favorite genres for exo to tackle, that's the reason I love "lucky one", it's the reason I love "gravity" and it's the reason I love this song, at first I wasn't sure what way we were going but then the chorus came with that beat drop and I was like YASSSSSSSSS!, I love the guitar work, the beat, I can imagine the bassist doing his thing, it's not as full out funk as I would have liked, especially the verses but I'm satisfied

b. GROOVE : LOL from the name, I expected one loud groovy thing, then the song started slow and I was like "wait where is the groove" and then the chorus came and I was like "OK there it is", I really like it and the falsetto's, my favorite part where from the rap, they did really well and then that interlude with the flute, even though I would have preferred a big band sound with horns, I still liked it, it was unique. If there is anything exo proved to me with this song, it's the fact that all of them can sing. Period.

c. NON STOP : OK this is probably my favorite so far, straight up funk, this is the type of songs super junior did for their play album and that is why that is one of my favorite albums, OMG, horns, I'm sure we all know how I feel about songs with horns, the "a little bit of love" part sounds like something straight out of Bruno mars's album. I love.

It might take me another one week to listen to the rest of the album but so far so good

I just watched episode 14 of catch the ghost cause I have been busy with school stuff and the pharmacy stress.
That episode 14 was lit the writer keeps turning our head I never imagined something like that was going to happen "yoo jin" survived and she is the last target woah, and I was feeling disappointed that psychiatric patient was the killer only for the writer to reverse us.
That was awesome and unpredictable I just hope the writer won't kill "yoo jin" after giving us hope cause if he does that I will just break his neck because I can't take that.
