He is no longer a goal threat like he used to be when Lamp started bringing him off the bench.

He was very hungry then...and always looked like he was gonna do something magical whenever he is in the opponent box. But now, the guy don't seal that position, he is too relaxed and doesn't look threatening anymore.

Duncan Ferguson is utilizing a flat 4-4-2.. The back 4 stay discipline and very rarely get involved in the attack. The onus of creating chances lies on the wingers (Iwobi/ Walcott) during counter attacks and the defenders/ midfielder who have no business in being fancy with the ball but kicking it into the box for Lewin/ Richarlison to contest. This is not pretty football but for those who watched the EPL in the late 90’s/ early 2000’s this is very very familiar.. Na kick and follow, no time for play play!
