The goal of the thread remains to bring you the best offers and prices were initially pegged at N1m and later moved to N1.2m. However, we are continually inundated with requests for vehicles priced above that amount and it is only logical that we attend to those requests as they came through the thread. Though we initially opened another thread to serve those requests, we are currently limited in manpower and chose to maintain one thread for now. So please bear with us in the meantime.

Nevertheless, we will continue to strive to bring you prices around the thread title. However, changes in the Nigerian market also make that very challenging. The most important is the age limitation set for vehicles. As 2019 gradually winds to a close, we will only be able to offer vehicles produced in 2005 and above. While some clearing agents are able to clear vehicles that are older, the process is fraught with risk and the vehicles can be seized by Customs or a fine imposed. In the event that that happens, it will lead to unpleasantness and dissatisfaction that we would rather do without at this time.

Be rest assured that we are constantly on our drawing board charting the best way to serve you.

We appreciate your kind understanding.

Pricars
Reminder. For your information. grin

To highlight how low some people can go, some dealers actually hatched a plan to contribute money, buy a vehicle from us and use it to discredit us. Somehow, their plan did not come to fruition.

Like so many people have said, Nairaland does not control the Nigerian auto market. It is just a small part of it. As long as we prioritize the needs of customers and continue to innovate, all of us can dey our dey, and still smile to the bank.
World pipo. Na wah.

Sir, why not take several tables too.
It is still an evidence nonetheless, albeit a weak one.
To some buying folks that maybe the evidence they need,
To others such an evidence is weak and they would need other supporting evidences.
Claims or "experience" as u mentioned are just claims and nothing more.
Providing as much evidence as u can give credence to those claims or "experiences"
Good day

RCDIY:

Oga, go and take several seats. How are pictures supposed to be evidence of the several points of the review? What kind of picture will you have as evidence of communication, for instance?
The pictures he posted, how are you now sure they are real?
Someone shared His experience and you're asking for evidence.

Hello boss, congrat on your new successful purchase, God bless , please I will like to know, how long between when your vessel arrive Nigeria to when your car final cleared?

It seems this congession issue is affecting a lot of importers

It came out on the 11th day excluding the actual day the vessel berthed.
Yeah, I also understand from other sources that December is usually like that at the Port.

OK let estimate any car u mention above including buying, shipping to Nigeria and clearing
In Nigeria...

I mean total cash.... And then compare to the one selling here in Nigeria.

U may contact the clearing agent and let us know.

Thanks

Congrats aieromon, welcome to the infiniti family. You have a very lovely looking sleeper right there. Will you by chance be passing through Awka - we get one challenger wer we go like make you help us conquer once and for all.

Nurey, Dannybrasky, Radautoworks get in here, seems like the only way to beat HeavenlyBang's G35 is with another G35. It's AWD, but no shaking, make I hear say HeavenlyBang go fit rig this race.

Heavenlybang will still comfortably beat the Dodge (whether it's an SXT, R/T (3.5/5.7L) . Next year we will go back to basics. Sell everything and buy a proper bimmer. The intimidation has to end!

German cars roll out of the factory with a thousand and one ways to kill you financially. The average Nigerian kazeem will freeze the moment he opens a fuse box that looks more or less like a Boeing's. This shouldn't discourage you from going for a bimmer.

First and foremost find at least 3 mechanics that know how German cars from 2002 work.

Secondly, never run to a kazeem directly with your car trouble - I repeat avoid the temptation to have him loosen bolts or run/tap electrical connections - create a thread and beg for input or lift phone numbers of people here and place friendly phone calls across (a lot of them are actually nicer offline than on here), arm yourself with the prerequisite knowledge before proceeding to a meet up with your kazeem.

Thirdly, buy a small potable Engine code reader (don't bother about learning to read DTCs, post am for here - people go interpret am for you).

A small misfire on a German car could cost you half the purchase price if you allow naija kazeems to keep changing plugs, ignition coils/wires, fuel pumps/filters/rails and their favorite part when all else fails, the brain box. Kazeems will only suggest computer when they've finished with you completely.

Don't let someone else's story ruin your dream. I've owned a 2012 bmw x3 since December 2015. And it has been a great companion. Like someone mentioned, the fear of kazeems is the beginning of wisdom, for all European cars.
My secret? I read online alot (Google is your friend has never been truer), I invested in an OBD scanner that reads ECU, ABS, SRS even a/c faults. Finally, I use only 1 mechanic. The guy's workshop is at Agege, I stay at Lekki, yet I don't mind the distance as long as my baby is in safe hands.
So please, go ahead. Get yourself a BMW and start true driving.
