President Buhari’s Special Adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adebayo, has reacted to the decision by Punch Newspaper to henceforth start referring to President Buhari as General Buhari and his administration as regime.



In a notice released this morning by Punch, titled “Buhari’s lawlessness: Our Stand”, Punch stated that it will “henceforth prefix Buhari’s name with his rank as a military dictator in the 80s ‘Major General’ and refer to his administration as a regime until they purge themselves of their insufferable contempt for the rule of law.”



Reacting to the newspaper’s decistion, Femi Adesina took to his Twitter to commend them for their decision as they are not totally out of place by referring to the president as General Buhari.
