Am a regular user of this forum, I had open this account mainly for this health challenge issue.

The picture below is a bud growing on my right lap, I grow to see it there, am currently in my late 20s.
I wasn't worried many years before now, but when I went for my NYSC camping, the urge to get rid of it, crave for more attention.

Pls what is it? And how do I get rid of it? It doesn't pain me, and it's not burstsble too.
I hope surgery is not my only option?

is the lump getting bigger? do you think the lump is the result of an injury, maybe during childhood? do you have any other symptoms?

At first it was stunted in growth, but i notice it getting bigger now

Okay, it's probably Lipoma... Lipoma is a benign growth(non-cancerous) or tumors, made up of fatty tissue. It's mostly found on the neck, thigh, shoulders and arm, but can also form on other part of the body. It's rarely harmful, it isn't life-threatening.

Treatment for a Lipoma usually is not necessary unless you're not just okay with it. It can be treated with surgery or some drugs or supplements to shrink it off completely.

Please I will advice you to visit any federal Medical Center around you.. The can take it from there.... Because their are an differentials to a mass. You shouldn't isolate it to Lipoma...more clinical questions are needed to be asked..
The temperature of the mass noted, whether it is mobile or firm... Alot to inquire from you, as you do that may you be healed...

There are many teaching hospitals around. Find one and book an appointment.
