Dear All,
A bricklayer charged 120k for a labour cost of 3 bedroom with 1 room self contained.
I hope it's not too much

Please note, he's using 2000 blocks from foundation to window level, water cost is not inclusive in the labour cost

If it's just for block setting, block is usually #50 or #60 per block, and using 1000 blocks is just about #50,000.

But I think in this case he will do the setting out of the house, the digging, the blinding of trenches and also the casting of lintels.

Those are the things you have to find out to justify the cost.

My own 3bedrooms cost me a total of 210,000 for the ENTIRE Labour from Setting out to Level. (i.e Setting out, Foundation digging, Blinding, Back filling, German floor, Lintel, Carpentary work, and with a total of 3,265 blocks used) But I think location matters. And your bargaining power also.

The price is OK.amything less than that js know he's ready to game u one way or d other and u will bear d brunt later take it or leave it.
