In my opinion, maybe the Enemy was not defined. Sent to kill his enemy, I.e the robot's enemy, not the operators enemy. So it turns out, the robot's enemy was his operator

For me in essence the operator killed himself, because maybe proper check wasn't done before deployment.

We cannot not hold the robot responsible because we cannot punish,reprimand, or seek compensation from the robot. Since the robot does not understand the concept of retributive punishment, the manufacturer who produce,program and market the killer robot is responsible for the death of the operator. The goal of the agent is to kill. If the goal of robot was not to kill, but later started malfunctioning, the operator is responsible for his own death. This is my own opinion.

Lol this reminds me of the Boston dynamics robot attack video I saw where the robot was asked to attack its fellow robot, instead it charged at the humans and grabbed the other robot and ran lol

The operators cos the code was probably faulty somewhere or the directions weren’t clear either way the operator was in charge of the operation.
