Wasn't following the Miss World thing myself but I saw it on the news this morning and her surname("Singh") got me thinking. Possibly the descendant or offspring of someone from the Indian subcontinent.

That "Singh" name is more popular amongst the Sikhs of the Indian subcontinent. I think it means lion or so.
