There has been a rumour in the past few hours that former military president, General Ibrahim Babangida, has passed away.

However, one of his media aides, who is also a journalist with Nigeria Info 99.3FM, Yemi Saka has stated that General Babangida is still alive.

But Buhari is a greater hero for resetting your brain.

Nigeria is one of a few pathetic countries where past leaders like IBB who raped democracy, looted the treasury dry and crippled the future of the youth are allowed to grow old gracefully with state benefits and still receive the once revered but now rubbished appellation of 'elder statesman' all in the name of 'reconciliation', 'forgive and forget' or as some brainwashed literate illiterates would say, "let's not open old sores".
Omar Al Bashir has been sentenced for corruption, Jacob Zuma is on trial for corruption etc but we the pathetic youths would rather ethnicize and turn a blind eye to such ppl as IBB who should receive nothing but misery in jail for his role in the dark days of our history.

Our over religiosity and prioritizing culture over common sense will continue to make Nigeria a folklore of would have been greatness.
