Grapevine gists reaching ngg.ng from those in the know has it that, All Progressives Congress, APC, kingmaker and party leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu might have handed over structures of the ruling Party and even affairs of Lagos State to the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola.

This speculations were further put paid to, during the last cabinet appointments in Lagos State; as it was evident how Rauf Aregbesola was the go-to person.

He in charge of making sensitive decisions and appointments while the jagaban himself manned things at the FCT.

Sources have recently revealed that Tinubu has given control of the ‘’intimidating machine’’ to Aregbesola. It was gathered that the move has given Tinubu free time to concentrate on other things and most importantly his 2023 presidential ambitions.

Now that the former Lagos State governor is engrossed with politicking at the National level, it is important that a trusted ally mans the affairs by overseeing the daily running of affairs, this is assumed to be what triggered the handing over of the “Tinubu political dynasty” to former osun state governor Rauf Aregbesola who of course reports and still gets directives from the Jagaban himself.

Yoruba contested under PDP in 1999 even when yoruba were almost non-existent in that party.

Whatever was done for yoruba to produce a candidate in the PDP they hated in 1999 must also be done for the Igbo in APC. It's very straightforward and simple.

The only time yoruba produced an elected president is when the 2 parties fielded yoruba candidates, same must be done for the Igbo for equity sake.
