So it started since yesterday evening on my phone.. one grey annoying messaging about joining flom...
the message doesn't store it just pops up on my phone and I have to cancel.

now every 3 seconds it pops up and seriously it's ruining the use of my phone with my data on or off it's constantly disturbing me

is there anyway I can put an end to it.. if the message can store I'll have tried blocking it with true caller or any other messaging app but it doesn't.. it just pops up and I cancel

It happen to me as well. It comes every seconds. I don't on data when it comes. I am fed up of it because i have called MTN customer care but doesnt stop.

if it comes even when your data is off, then you should activate the "DO NOT DISTURB" service. send the below as sms
HELP to 2442

It is not SMS. It is pops onto screen. I have done that severally but it doesn't stop

I think your phone is infected with malware, go to settings and uninstall any app that has a funny name. Sometimes this malware gets admin privileges rendering uninstallation useless.

The problem is not caused by a malware. It is from the operator. Here is a picture.

Ok, i thought it was all this picture ads with x button.

I noticed this also on my phone after service.... I guess it could be cell broadcast

Just block flash SMS under the SMS section of your phone by typing "flom" in the "enter phone number to block" box.
