Individually,nobody controlled the middle and dictated the pattern of play consistently more than Xavi. And he did all this with the Barca team. Zidane was already a great player before he even came to Madrid.So that gives Xavi an edge of Zidane

Zidane was inconsistent in la liga. Almost everyone knows this. People just get blinded because he won the ucl in his 1st season in madrid.

Ronaldinho's peak was probably higher than everyone in that midfield list but xaviesta were more consistent.

My midfield choice is purely based on both consistency and peak. Iniesta was probably the most consistent in that list.

Zidane is mostly remembered in Madrid shirt for that goal he scored in the champions league final.He's all round Madrid career wasnt much tbh compared to others. Placing Alonso is also out of place cause all the clubs he played he was really exceptional so his Madrid career wasn't that outstanding than what he did both at Liverpool and Bayern. He didn't even have a better career in Madrid shirt than Busquet at Barca. Exclusion of Xavi,Raul/Di Stefano and possibly Iniesta means people at Livescore just started watching football yesterday.

Remind me how many individual awards and world 11 Modric has been in so far?? Canavaro is a 1 time world best.Based on that logic,Canavaro is a much better defender than Maldini and Modric should have made the list even ahead of Alonso.
