How reliable is it and its maintainability

Define good deal.... Compare with other market values and let a good mechanic confirm it after running a scan on the engine.

SouthAfrican cars are right hand drives. Before using it in Nigeria you'll have to change it to left hand drive. Extra cost and probability of being faulty afterwards.

So much engine and wiring issues. It's not durable, rugged and not fit for everyday use. Mercedez mechanic go build house for your head. As a first time car user, Toyota is the best bet. Moreso you may have to convert for you to use in Nigeria of which the conversion may not turn out well. Alternatively, you can consider a Honda, Hyndai or Kia products being a first time vehicle user. Don't be enticed by the seemingly cheap price the seller may want to give you. You'll spend more in the long run
