In this situation we are helpless because trying to carry out even an armless protest earns you a live bullet.
gather 500 people, provide them a gun and go on peaceful protest. If the army or police shoot, fire back. That's the best way to protest in this country Nigeria. Even me will not dare go on a peaceful protest without a gun. I must be armed! Thank u

I'm wondering what will happen if all the south unite and decide to divide the country into two. Just like North and South Korea, I can bet that US and the Allies will ally with the South.
I can't wait for that day to happen.

Love is all we want in our nation.

A nation where all men and women will love themselves as christ commanded us to do.

Let us all say no to hatred, negativity and all social vice.

This is the way forward to a New and better nation.

It is a shame that it is a foreign country that will have to teach us as a nation to be tolerant towards each other.
A colossal shame!
Shame to religion bigots, especially on this forum.

God bless Nigeria.

Not sure anyone would commend the US for taking this long time to include Nigeria in that list.
This should have been done since 2016.

You have a point. It's like trying to remove the speck from the eye of your friend while ignoring the log in your own eyes. America has huge the problems the world is not seeing except you live there. From continued high-handed incarceration of blacks, as well as rampant mass-shootings that target immigrants like mexicans.
Nonetheless, Buhari is a tyrant religious bigot. This is coming from a former Buharist. He has turned out to be the "disappointment of the century".

scribble:
Bubu and his ilk want you to love the herdsmen and hate the farmers

The herdsmen are the visa free Africans bubu wants to see more of in our beloved lands

The government also denied that it was tolerating or engaging in violations of religious freedom, saying crimes such as those occurring in the Middle-belt states of Benue and Plateau were more economic, between herders and farmers, than religious.

Even the killings carried out by fulani herdmen is economically driven, what has Buhari govt done about it. His DSS could storm a court to arrest just one person but would close its eyes to the atrocities of his kinsmen. Hell awaits him if one exist.

When Shi'ites starts bombing everywhere now, the fools will start victimizing over two billion people across the globe calling them all sort of derogatory names.

Speaking is not enough. We've been doing that for years and nothing has happened, the country rather gets worse each passing year. At the moment we need external intervention because the Court of Justice is in the hands of the tyrant.

The thing is we are too afraid. And have over the years of tolerating bullshit built the mentality of "half bread is better than nothing". So we shrug off the desire to protest in the face of uncertainty of returning from the protest alive with yet another quote " a living dog is better than a dead lion".

The culture of cowardice deepens and we remain where we are.
This is why we should be grateful to IPOB because at a point in time they showed courage and set up precedence for a revolution that would have changed the fate of this nation but we were too concerned about how the message should have come rather than what the message is. Me too, I feel sorry for the few times I criticized them. Nigeria is no place for a gentleman.

This way it will be easy for them to convince the world that you're a terrorist. They'll cash in on it and kill you plus members of your family. You can't be more terrorist than the armed forces of this country.

Irony.

Come to Nigeria, you will see thousands of churches, mosques and other religious houses littered everywhere with loudspeakers mounted everywhere and various religious activities going on without hindrances yet NIGERIA IS SEEN AS INTOLERANT TO RELIGION.

But the same western world limited religious activities to secluded areas, they are not allowed to hold religious programs at will, need a permit to organize any religious programs, not allowed to use speakers. Audit every religious house in their domain, ban religion in various public places including schools, yet they are SEEN AS THE TOLERANT TO RELIGION.

BLACK PEOPLE, UNA BE THE BIGGEST GULLIBLE FOOLS IN THE WORLD.

SEE ALL OF THEM ATTACKING THEIR OWN COUNTRY!

God, why you come put me among people that hardly reason deeply nor question the status quo?

Can any of you practice religion the way you practice it in Nigeria anywhere in the WEST? (US, CANADA, and UK especially not to talk of China and Russia?)
