I used my hard earned money to buy car when I was 17-18.it was a Toyota corolla 4 door. I bought it 850k that year. New beautiful car when I rdive it home and paid 55 k for licence and paper brouhaha. I was using a Nissan Patrol and 505 at which my dad bought for me to pick me and drop in in secondary school and had two drivers He thought I stole his money. No I did not.. Mine was an Opel Vectra About 20years ago and in my early days in Uni.I bought it for N150k ,a Naija use and an auto.The problems started almost immediately because I was used to driving manual shifts.I was using park mode as a stop.It of course crashed the transmission.The moment,Ojuelegba mechanics started feasting on me,I heard no option than to convert the transmission to manual.That was my greatest misdeed.Different issues every now and then but it gave me a best gift which was my wife.I guess the beauty of the car was one of her attraction .I have migrated with about 10 different models but I kept her favorite car color of black as my private car color. |

Though i have been using cars for a very long time but the first car I bought with my money was a Volkswagen Jetta 2002 model... I bought it 850k with clearing from cotonu... But right now I drive a 2015 honda accord which I upgraded to 2017 model... 1 Like |

23rd December 2008. Toyota Corolla hatchback for N150k. It did not last six months and I replaced it with a Mercedes Benz C220 1996 edition which I used for 5 years. Sold it to build my house and currently making plans to buy another Benz. |
