Sholaco:They are not from the same Senatorial zone, Amosun is from Central, Akinlade is from West. Tolu Odebiyi ( Former Chief of Staff and strong ally of Amosun) is the current Senator of Akinlade Zone, who gave the condition to ONLY decamp if Amosun lead the way and refused to decamp to APM when Amosun didn't. Akinlade should have been contented with his HoR ticket and wait for a more auspicious time but he was too much in a hurry (one of the biggest weakness of an average Nigerian politician) to be governor and allowed himself to be used. 3 Likes |
