Days ago Femi Adesina released a statement that USA is not the world's police hence has no wherewithal to interfere in the travail of Sowore. Few days later the Attorney general of the federal, Malami orders his release, along with Dasuki.

Where was Malami and what was his stance until USA decided to intervene ?

You see, I am not a fan of the US interference in the internal issues of independent nations especially Nigeria. But if you wanna be honest with yourself you'd want to imagine what a Nigeria would have been with Buhari as a president (and without USA interference).

Why did Buhari had to wait for USA to tell him what is right for his country ?
You see why Nigeria is not yet ripe for total independence?
You see why USA (with all her errors ) is still welcomed in Nigeria as the world's police?

Buhari is a big let down to Nigeria and her people.

You can see that the letters of "concern" started flowing in immediately the Punch took a stand on the issue.

Without our media's intervention, the US legislators might have shown little interest in this case.

Well, you don't know the western nation.
They have department that are focused on monitoring threats to democratic institutions across the globe.
They may not speak up when an ally flouts the rules but they definitely aren't unaware.

Don't mix up a case of human rights with making a country great.
One is legal while the other is an economic intervention, they are not the same.
