Last week I saw a man in military uniform locking a civilian inside his car boot. Since then I've retired from defending our armed forces whenever they're accused of violating human rights.

In Other countries, their armies face war abroad.

In Nigeria, the army face war at home.

What a sad state of affairs.

AKOBI DADDY MI = the first child of my father

That statement alone is so deep, for those that understand human history. Because there was a time in the world that firstborns (males) were mandated and required to be the ones to represent their family to join their country's army for war. Firstborns have seen plenty in this world, firstborns have carried other people's destiny's on their shoulders, firstborns have sacrificed their lives for the safety of their people. If you are reading this and you're a firstborn, especially a Male, then may God almighty crown you with honor and glory for all the painful sacrifices you make for the betterment of others. And to this team of soldiers, particularly AKOBI DADDY MI, you will not die untimely deaths, God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will keep you safe in a strange land, Boko Haram will not shed your blood, as you are smiling to sacrifice your lives for the safety of your country people, may your smile never turn to sorrow and may God bring you safely back to your families without disabilities. Amen!
