Merry christmas guys, i recently acquired a Lg v30+ and its operating on Os 7.1, i have a few questions and I'd appreciate if you guys can bail me out...
I have a few questions ;

1) is it possible to upgrade from nougat to pie?
2) if its possible, how can i do this upgrade on my own??

Check your phone settings if there is a system upgrade option there. If there is, the phone will download it and install on your phone with your permission

go to settings , goto about phone , click on software update, or use the bridge app if you have a computer around( tutorials on YouTube)

Have you check software updates ?
Please try using WiFi not mobile data
Am not sure LG gives out a updates so often

What you can do is to download the android pie update for the phone and flash via recovery if BTL is unlocked .
I advice you to use it like that ...

Your only option now is to either buy a new phone that has andriod pie or root your phone, unlock the bootloader and install the andriod pie rom manually
This is highly risky with a 50/50 chance you might brick your phone (Completely destroy the software).
