mimmmms:If the soil fertility status is low, work organic manure into it during land preparation. Then plant maize seeds at one seed/hole (reliable improved seeds). Apply NPK at 3weeks after planting when the plants are @ knee level (300kg/ha). When they begin to tassel @ 6-8 weeks after planting, apply urea (200-250kg/ha). Expect 25-30 bags/ha of harvest if all other Agronomic management were properly done with adequate rainfall or irrigation. 1 Like |
