Plx someone should tell me urgently what their cut off for medicine nd nursing are both jamb nd screening i really need a reply tnx

Please am in need of advice I scored 248 in the just concluded jamb am aspiring for medicine and surgery but am doing uniabuja remedial program which is impossible for me to choose other universities as first choice apart from them so am thinking of choosing atbu as my second choice university what my chance of being admitted

Pls share us your contact i will like to speak with you to inquire about their mbbs and all issues

your chances of being admitted is very slim... they rarely admit those that chose them as second choice

Yakira, I am a student of ATBU and so I think I can be of help. Regarding the requirement for MBBS, I think the cut off mark (minimum) is 230 but that doesn't mean you'll be offered the course with that score. You'll have to hit close to 300... All the best!

Yakira, I am a student of ATBU and so I think I can be of help. Regarding the requirement for MBBS, I think the cut off mark (minimum) is 230 but that doesn't mean you'll be offered the course with that score. You'll have to hit close to 300... All the best!

Oh, thanks for replying, please what else do they look at apart from one's jamb score because I heard of someone who scored 280 something some years back and I was told she wasn't offered

Also, do they use catchment area as a criteria

Every University makes use of quota system in Nigeria. Jamb score is the only parameter ATBU use to give admission. I was offered Admission using "awaiting result". That means my Olevel was not considered at all before I was offered admission.

I know of one person since the college of Medical Science is in a campus different from the one I am studying in and the students in department are not many (less than 60 per set). The guy had 286 or 296 (I've forgotten but it's one of the two) and he's from Bauchi.

No, I don't. I'd have asked him on Facebook but I'm off Facebook for now. You can actually make inquiry in ATBU Aspirants group about MBBS. You're likely to meet MBBS students there.
