The federal government since the coming of the military in 1966 never work to establish true national wealth.

Yes, we had a vibrant youth population who had no job despite their university/polytechnic/college of education training.

The crude oil was covering things up in so many ways while our politicians engaged in massive corruption and reckless spending and financial misappropriation.

The federal government built Abuja fct and maintained a huge cost of governance which was beyond the capacity of the federal and state government.

Now that crude oil could not sustain our huge cost of running Nigeria.

The Buhari administration and the previous government before it borrowed massive money to continue to run Nigeria and this money failed to bring better lives to well meaning Nigerians.

Nigeria today is indebted to China and many countries.

The way forward is for the federal and state government to cut down on the huge cost of governance and sustain the ongoing anticorruption legacy of the Buhari government.

There are too many unproductive gateways e.g federal and state ministry and parastatal that is consuming the wealth of Nigeria without Nigeria making progress.

The Nigerian constitution which is supposed to serve as a guide and pave the way for Nigeria to move forward had become our source of weakness.

He forgot that many goods and services are exempted from the vat payments. And with the new minimum wage which cuts across all federal, state and private firms workers, the effects of the actual increment will be adequately cushioned.

Everything he has said prior to (and since) becoming President has been rooted in retrograde thinking - defending Abacha; suggesting that Islamic law needs to spread throughout the nation; claiming that attacking Boko Haram would be unfair to the north.
