Mutliple rockets are being fired into us army base in Mosul and green zone in Iraq.
Two rockets Saturday hit Iraq’s Al-Balad air base, where US troops are stationed, while two mortars hit Baghdad’s Green Zone, a high-security enclave housing the US embassy, security sources said.

Sirens immediately rang out at the American compound in Baghdad hosting both diplomats and troops, sources there told AFP.

The Al-Balad base, north of Baghdad, was hit by Katyusha rockets, security sources said.
The US has feared a backlash against its mission and bases where its troops are deployed across Iraq following the precision drone strike that killed Iranian general Qasem Soleimani on Friday.

Iran: Unreliable alliance with Russia
USA: lockdown 28 allies that must automatically come to it's defence by article 5 of the NATO treaty - NATO allies include France, Britain(Badass naval force) and Turkey(one of the largest militaries on earth)

Iran: Middle east alliance of terrorist groups e.g Hezbollah or near failed state such as Syria
USA: Active alliance with Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Isreal, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE.
With no doubt Isreal will bleed on the front line for America. Saudi despises Iran and would fight to bring an end to Iran. Egypt would most likely stay neutral

Iran: 0 active nuclear weapons
USA: 4,000 nuclear weapons with additional 200 undeclared Israeli warhead available for instant deployment.

Iran: Truly Possess ICBMs that can reach US Mainland but would take too much hours that the US will detect and shoot it down.
USA: Possess bases that surround and can hit Iranian home territory from North, South, West and East within an hour.

Iran: A dwindling economy that cannot sustain the financing of a large scale war against a thriving economy like US or Isreal.
USA: World's greatest economy would use all its resources to barricade and strangle Iranian economy while bombing Iranian economic Installations into Oblivion.

In all it is ludicrous to think Iran would take a direct attack against America.
However, the US must be very careful of a possible abduction of US military men.

Suffice to say if Iran kills Americans then Iran is looking for big trouble and would empower Trump to go all out. But If Iran Kidnaps American military men or civillians then Trump is in Trouble as Americans would blame him for starting a needless war...
