Chad has withdrawn its 1,200-strong force who were on months-long mission fighting Boko Haram from Nigeria. Chadian Army’s spokesman also confirmed on Saturday that none of their personnel remain in Nigeria. “It’s our troops who went to aid Nigerian soldiers months ago returning home. They have finished their mission,” spokesman Colonel Azem Bermandoa said. “None of our soldiers remains in Nigeria,” he added, without specifying whether they might be replaced following Friday’s pullout. “Those who have come back will return to their sector at Lake Chad,” Bermandoa said. However, Chad’s general chief of staff General Tahir Erda Tahiro said that if countries in the region which have contributed to a multinational anti-jihadist force were in agreement, more troops will likely be sent in. “If the states around Lake Chad agree on a new mission there will surely be another contingent redeployed on the ground,” Tahiro told AFP. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2020/01/04/boko-haram-chad-withdraws-all-troops-from-nigeria/amp/ |

Hope they're not trying to destabilize the region. I sense France is trying to Bleep with us, they're the sponsors of boko haram all in a bid to destabilize 9ja so that we don't rise up since we're a regional power in west Africa nd its evident the way they are trying to hold us down using that eco currency agreement as bait to enslave our economy! We must rise by God's grace... no matter how hard france and our neighbors (her slave countries) try. We are the Giant of Africa and we are slaves to none. |

Chad brother wey mumu. Chad or any other country wasn't suppose to enter Nigeria to join in the fight against Boko haram. They were only supposed to protect their own side of the border. Boko haram cannot be defeated, it's political abinitio and they have sympatisers so instead of wasting your troop for wetin no concern you, use that energy to protect your boders so they won't near you land again. |

Kapeter:There are Chadian forces in Nigeria and Nigerians forces in Chad. The Boko Haram fighters operate from Chad. The carry out attacks in Nigeria and run back to Chad through the lake Chad region. Our troops in pursuit was always required to turn back at the Nigerian Chad border. With the arrangement, the Nigerian troops did not need to turn back at the border and the Chadian troops need not turn back at the border too. |
