A lot of people here call him sharia or islamic judge forgetting that the supreme court makes provision for one or more of their judges to be versed in sharia law and the constitution allows judges from sharia courts to rise up to the supreme court and become cjn.all the attacks on him are mostly misplaced except maybe his last statement about inculcating sharia into our constitution.

The Constitution allows a state to use a religious law like sharia if it is lis accepted..No wonder when Zamfara started it when Bola Ige was the AG.The late AG did not complain at all.The constitution allows Supreme court judges to be versed in Sharia so as to assist on cases that bother on applicàtion of Sharia law.The CJ only expressed what is in the Constitution. He knows that our constitution does not make Sharia A constitution for the country neither can Nigeria be an Islamic natiion

The man is an islamic fundamentalist that does not know the meaning of technicalities as applied in law. And cannot express himself better than a form 1 student
