American President Donald Trump has been voted as the greatest threat to World Peace according to poll by a German think thank and analysed by Fox News.

The survey was conducted by YouGov and revealed that Germans believe Trump poses a significantly bigger threat to world peace than North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The latest results are similar to those reported in past polls. In a similar YouGov survey conducted last year, 48 percent of Germans surveyed said Trump presented the greatest hurdle to global peace, followed by Kim and Putin. That poll, notably, did not include Xi or Khamenei as options.

Earlier this year, YouGov posed a similar question to Americans of all ages: Who do you think is more dangerous — Trump, Kim, Putin, Xi or Venezuela's Nicolás Maduro? Though voters ages 18 to 91, including Gen Z, millennials, Gen X, baby boomers and the Silent Generation, tend to vote differently, the poll found that voters across every generation considered Trump to be the biggest threat to world peace over Kim, Putin, Xi or Maduro.

Religion itself is a useful tool for political domination. Christianity also employed violence during the middle ages and during colonisation. Now they use more subtle means.

Since both Iran and The US are trying to project their influence within the same space, clashes and conflicts are inevitable, and hence the proxy wars. Iran's proxies bombing US interests in the middle east, while US bomb Irans proxies and interests.

So the war is all about Sunni vs Shia again.

Trump's bombing of an Iranian government official can be seen as a terrorist action. Iran has never targeted US officials. Yes, us soldiers (and iranian soldiers) and contractors die in the course of the proxy wars, but no direct confrontation had involved government officials.

The US has no right to bomb Iranian general as there is no formal declaration of war. Even though the US and Iran are involved in a proxy war, the US and Iran are not at war, and the killing was not carried out in a battle field but at an airport. It's like the Iranian leaders ordering the bombing of the US joint chief of staff at the Mexican airport when he visits Mexico. The whole world would term that a terrorist action.

I agree with you on bible old testament but Christians belong to the new testament. Even as Christianity have elements of violence history, in today's world, they have become very peaceful bringing out the beauty of their religion.

As concerns American interest, its same interest they have even here in Nigeria. They want to prefect the world and influence anything they do.
I don't like their influence also but dont forget that Muslims are their best partner in such influence. Look at Nigerian situation, previous dictators from Northern Nigeria have always teamed up with them and UK to render Nigeria useless.

Its a common knowledge that USA and UK fought Biafra whom they know will object to their neo colonization to insist on one Nigeria. Same America brought your nepotic Buhari. Thereafter, Nigeria continue to be a mockery.

Those northern Muslim elites till today always love UK and USA all because they allow them easy access to oil.

My question is "Why cant both sect come together and preach peace?" Why cant they love every other religion like themselves. If they do, half of tensions in the world will be solved. People will be able to stand to America and tell them to chill on their numerous aggression.

Its a common knowledge that we Christians and skeptical about American issue with them. Do you know why? We see America as lesser evil. Well I agree to your analysis. But like I said, the proxy war in the region is summed up to Shia vs Sunni influence. Sects of same religion. So you just ask yourself why? Reason Im pissed off.

Same issue already originating here in Nigeria. So why? Cant they embrace peace and reject foreign influence.

then Hillary was far more presentable and popular than trump. I was even rooting for her to win with a landslide. Now no candidate in the dems can defeat trump, they know it that's why they are trying to see if they can remove him and have Mike pence who is a weaker candidate assume office.
Truth is trump will win the next election with a gap bigger than the former, forget all the tongue lashing on media, they low-key will go and vote him and alot of non noise making average voters will.
The next polls will truly show whether it was a mistake getting trump into power initially.
