Iran’s parliament passed a bill on Tuesday designating all US forces “terrorists” over the killing of a top Iranian military commander in a US strike last week. Trump said killing that Iranian General will make Americans safer but the opposite is the case, US weapons manufacturers need a new war to make money. Trump threatening to bomb Iranian cultural centres was a big blunder, that's what happens when you brag too much. Other US presidents would have used the cover of freedom and democracy to attack or try to invade Iran but Trump spoilt it by telling the world that he likes Oil and is in Syria and Iraq and planning for regime change in Venezuela so that US will control all of the oil. His allies are not moving along with him on this, several protests in America against war. I am in full support of a country pursuing what advances her interests. The U.S. designated the IRGC, the elite arm of the Iranian military, as a terrorist organisation and that made it easy to take its commander out on foreign soil—it rid the whole process of most diplomatic and legal bottlenecks. So if Iran did same, in the advancement of her interest, then it is perfectly okay by me. However, I'll urge Iran not to confront the U.S. headlong. If retaliation became unavoidable, then it could use asymmetric warfare and attrition. Peace, whilst capacity is being built, is still the best option for the world.
