Auto experts in the house, kindly come to my rescue. I moved into a new site area about two years ago. The road network is not encouraging and I must say my C180 Mercedes benz has really suffered on same road. Now I am thinking going for a SUV and the two that came to my mind is Acura MDX and Honda Pilot 04/05 model. Pls, which of it would you recommend with reasons?

Depends on what you want.....

Acura and Honda are both from the same Company. I can't confirm if they use the same parts though but Acura is the luxury version of Honda.

So depends on whether you are looking at luxury or cost savings.

go for Toyota, or still get the Honda, it everywhere, spear parts matters..

There’s someplace in car talk where people condemned the MDX. Lots of issues and it ‘doesn’t age well’ according to Gazuzz.

I’m not much of a jap person so I’ll leave the floor some other folks to pop in.

Thanks for this vital information, I think I read something like that stating that the issue always ve to do with its transmission. MDX part availability as well as pricing is what I am not sure if it's like that of Pilot.

go for 04/05 pilot..you will never regret ur decision...its a very reliable car..flee from Acura
