Governors in South West majorly six state has launched the Amotekun Security outfit, during the launch they said that Nigeria cannot break up as they believe in the unity of Nigeria.

The Governors declared that the region and its Governors strongly believed in the unity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its indissoluble sovereignty.

They made this declaration during the launch of a new security outfit code-named Amotekun.

AUTHENTIC Learnt that the six governors, Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo) Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos) and Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti), had last year agreed to establish Amotekun, aimed at strengthened the security situation in the region.







Akeredolu, who is the Chairman, Western Nigeria Governors’ Forum, while speaking at the launch held in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital and attended by Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Deputy Governor of Ogun, Noimat Salako-Oyedele, Deputy Governor of Osun, Benedict Gboyega Alabi,the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Otunba Deji Osinbogun and Professor Banjo Akintoye, said that Governors in the region are committed, in all ramifications, to the ideals that will make the country stronger and more united, and not....

if you go through my comments, you will know my state produce more oil than both SS and SE join together, but I do not shout breakup because I know our problem is not northerners but greedy people and even if we separate, it will not change

Lol the war toughened us up , to survive anywhere on planet earth and dominate where ever we go that's why after the war we came back stronger and dominated Lagos and made Lagos no mans land having properties 50/50 with Yoruba's in their own lands while we still keep 100% our lands to ourselves

Then you are myopic. People are not naturally greedy. A failing system kicks in the survival instinct and self preservation. That's what you see as greed. Yugoslavia broke up to about 8 countries and each one of them today is more successful than Yugoslavia!
