[I did maths last, and i wasnt picked, i guess tge maths had more marks to it,i did all otger adoect well but time was limited to complete quantitative aspect had to do just 3 correctly and leave the rest to guessing.. quote author=RonMos post=85592068] yeah. I have never failed any workforce on site test. here's my trick. I attempt the maths section last. and when I get to the section I do those easy ones first then do gambling on others. always do the maths aspect last. [/quote] |

Timmyblinks: i did the maths section first sha.. but what i did was to sort of be able to look at a question and see if its something that can be answered right away and without a calculator in about a min...if i think it can , i will attempt it if it cant i guess and move to the next....the whole idea of moving to another section and then backtracking on a computer screen often seem to be annoying 1 Like |

Thecvbankng: I am quite new to this as this would be my first interview. so pardon my lack of understanding...should i come off as showing a lack thereof ... Bro, you said someone has already explained what is to be expected for this stage and its brilliant...i dont really understand o...i know this next stage is said to be comprised of two stages: documentation and interview screening....which is diffrent from the assessment center...i was lead to believe that its the assessment center stage where one is expected to do some presentation, in-tray exercises , psychometric test and a host of activities...now what am thinking that the interview screening exercise would be about is the usual: tell em about yourself, why do you think we should hire you, what are your strengths or have their been cases where one has been asked to do some presentation during an interview.... 1 Like |

tesayan: I don't think there will be any presentation at this stage, just some random interview questions I guess. |

Re: Sterling Bank (workforce)graduate Trainee Recruitment 2019/2020 by ILoveToFuCcK: 12:24pm On Jan 11, 2020 |
If you're wise, don't say any presentation topic here. The same set of questions will be repeated tommorow and if you leak em out now, a wise candidate will prepare against it and deliver effectively, thereby reducing your chances of making the cut for the next round. Use your head |

my advice for those yet to be assessed, speak clearly, relate what ever they ask you to situations you can remember, don't argue with them, make sure you ask a question (s). act natural. 1 Like |

Re: Sterling Bank (workforce)graduate Trainee Recruitment 2019/2020 by Tornedo81: 1:36pm On Jan 11, 2020 |
Sterling Bank Graduate trainees are entitled to a monthly pay of between #55,000 naira and #65,000 naira. This will be their salary during and after their compulsory training and probation, which would usually last for anywhere from a few months to one or two years, depending on the candidates performance. Afterwards, the bank evaluates their performances during the training and makes a recommendation to promote those whose performances are excellent and satisfactory – in light of available vacancies and policies, while also discussing viable lines of action for those candidates who fail to meet up to the required standard after the training. Entry level staffs earn a minimum pay of #145,000 naira monthly. They are permanent staffs. 1 Like |

Not quite right. The 65k is for the training school which is just a few months (think 3-6), after which if you’re successful, you will start getting 145k. Tornedo81: |
